Delivery & Returns Policies

DELIVERY

We hand make all our jewellery to order. Which means it can take up to 5 weeks from the date of purchase to the product being dispatched. Please take this into account when ordering. If you need something by a specific date please inform us in the comments box when you checkout, or via email prior to purchase. We will do our best to meet your deadline! If it is really urgent please call 07814563314.


All items are shipped from the UK. An email will be sent to confirm the product has been posted. Please note all orders require a signature upon delivery.

 

ORDERS OVER £100 DELIVERY IS FREE !


UK Delivery £6.50

Packages within the UK will be sent Royal mail Special Delivery, packages usually take 1-2working days to arrive.

 

International delivery £10

International packages will be sent via Royal Mail international tracked and signed for service.

Packages sent within Europe usually take 5-7 working days to arrive, packages sent to non-European countries usually take 10-15 working days to arrive.


Unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery times. Postage within the UK can take up to a maximum of 15 working days. International delivery dates depend on your country's postal service. Please be aware international orders may be subject to your countries custom charges. Any such charges are not the responsibility of Daniel Darby Jewellery.


More Delivery options

If it is inconvenient to have to sign for your parcel, we can send your order by non-recorded post if you prefer. Just request this in the comments box when you check out (postage cost is the same). We can't be held responsible for missing parcels.

 

RETURNS

We are happy to offer a refund or exchange on most of our items (please see below for restrictions). If you are unhappy with your purchase we ask you contact us via email within 7 days of delivery, and choose from either a refund or exchange. We will then be I touch with details of where to return the jewellery.

Please note all jewellery must be returned in a pristine re-saleable condition with its original box and packaging. We will only be able to process a refund once the item has arrived back with us. We are unable to cover the cost of return postage.

 

It can be tricky to purchase a ring in the correct size. If you are buying a ring for yourself we advise visiting a local jewellers to get your finger sized correctly.

All of our rings are made in a standard size, we then resize each ring to fit a customers individual size. This first sizing is free of charge.

If you are buying a ring as a gift and are unsure of the size, please state this in the comments box when purchasing the item. We will send you a standard size that can be presented, then either you or the recipient can send it back to us to be resized to the perfect fit. As with all our rings this first resize is free, you must contact us via email within 7 days of delivery, before returning the ring to us.

We are happy to resize more than once, but further alterations will be subject to a charge

Due to hygiene reasons earrings cannot be returned.

All bespoke or customised designs, for instance personalised engraved jewellery is non refundable or exchangeable.

Rings that have been resized to to a personalised size are not eligible for refund or exchange.

 

Daniel Darby Jewellery will not refund shipping costs unless there was a fault with the item. Any fault must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

 

Faulty

All items are handmade, customers should be aware that this means there may be variations between matching items. Colours of natural gemstones vary, and we cannot guarantee an exact match to the images on this website.

We quality control each piece before it leaves the studio.

In the event that an item is faulty we want to fix the problem, please contact us within 7 days of delivery, we will offer to repair or replace the faulty jewellery. Or you can choose from a refund or exchange.

Please send the item back in its original packaging, posted in a padded envelope.

As with all returns we can only process a refund once the jewellery has arrived back with us.
